Experience:
José Alves Ribeiro is one the partners of VBSO Lawyers. He acts in fixed-income transactions, as public offerings of debentures (including incentivized debentures), promissory notes and financing transactions for projects. He has experience in structured operations, as in securitized real state receivables, as well as financial and agribusiness ones, also acting in structuring receivables funds, private equity funds and in mergers & acquisitions operations.
Mr. Ribeiro also conducts banking regulation and capital markets advisory (Central Bank of Brazil and CVM – Securities Commission), including going public transactions and processes of obtaining regulated activities licenses.
Mr. Ribeiro is assistant professor of Financial and Capital Markets LLM Program at Insper – Education and Research Institute and he is a member of Junior German Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in São Paulo (AHK Jr. São Paulo).
