Diego Aubin Miguita works in the practice of Tax Law, both advisory and litigation. He has 10 years of experience in the area and assists national and international clients in a wide range of activities, notably in day-to-day tax consulting, M&A, asset purchase and sale, foreign investments, corporate restructurings and taxation of financial and capital market. Diego Miguita strongly acts before administrative courts, especially the Conselho Administrativo de Recursos Fiscais – CARF and the Tribunal de Impostos e Taxas do Estado de São Paulo – TIT/SP. In addition, he also acts on behalf of the interests of several economic sectors and class associations, particularly the electric power sector.
Miguita is member of various institutes, such as Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário – IBDT, Associação Brasileira de Direito Financeiro – ABDF, International Fiscal Association – IFA and Grupo de Estudos sobre Direito
e Contabilidade da Direito – GEDEC – FGV. Moreover, during 2012 and 2013, he acted as member of Grupo de Trabalho de Assuntos Tributários da Associação Brasileira das Companhias Abertas – ABRASCA regarding corporate taxation based on the International Financial Reporting Standards – IFRS. Over the past years, Diego Aubin Miguita has participated in more than 100 articles published in Valor Econômico, Capital Aberto, DCI and others notable Brazilian publications.
