Mini-bio:

Renata Simon holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), as well as a LL.M from Columbia School of Law and a specialization degree from the Harvard Negotiation Program. Renata has a background of 20+ years as the head of M&As and cross-border, private equity and capital market transactions. She also is experienced in the development and implementation of compliance programs and internal and external ESG practices in corporations. Renata is co-head of the M&A and Corporate Practice at VBSO Advogados, together with partner Amanda Visentini Rodrigues.

Renata’s practice has been acclaimed by the leading national and international legal publications and rankings. IFLR 1000 has ranked Renata as one of Brazil’s top M&A lawyers. She was also included in the list of most admired female lawyers by annual publication Análise Advocacia 500 and Análise Advocacia Mulher.
